Synopsis: Spend a few minutes with an ad agency's think tank team responsible for coming up with catchy names for stores. Think Tank Team Leader, Pete Wells (Andy Dick) has his hands full as he and his team of young professionals work under pressure to come up with a title for a store of a very big client.

Synopsis: Alone in deep space, an interstellar salvage man gets a dab of alien paint on his skin... and it begins to spread. Unable to get help and accompanied by only a dispassionate computer, he must figure out how to stop the paint before he becomes a space relic himself.

The Colt

Synopsis: In 1864, during one of the bloodiest pitched battles of the American Civil War, the men of the First Michigan Cavalry are trapped, injured and outnumbered in a Virginia forest when one of the soldier's mares unexpectedly gives birth to a beautiful, chestnut colt. Defying a directive from his commander to destroy the colt at once before it endangers their survival, the young trooper is suddenly separated from his unit by a freak ambush. Now the young trooper is at the heart of two battles - keeping himself and his majestic colt alive.

The Colt is a breathless, heartfelt tribute to life that emerges when mankind is most posited on the brink of destruction; a splash of beauty in one of the ugliest periods of American history.

Synopsis: Craig Dowd was flying high in the 1990s. He went from class nerd to dot.com millionaire in a few short years. And now with the picture complete – he is about to marry the beautiful and sexy Kelli – he has invited his old college friends for a celebratory weekend-long reunion.

But things are not what they appear. Craig actually went bankrupt when the dot.com bubble burst. Deep in debt, knowing nothing but the Internet, he turned to the only profitable online business left – porn. His fancy house in the hills is actually a rental – used to shoot adult videos. And his fiancé is a former adult actress who is also his business partner.

Craig tries desperately to keep his college friends from discovering the truth. They are all so proud of his success, especially since their own lives have not exactly lived up to their youthful dreams. But as more and more strange couples arrive to shoot their videos, it becomes increasing difficult for Craig to keep his two worlds from colliding.

A mixture of humor and poignant drama, COME AS YOU ARE is an honest and heartfelt look at the 1990’s generation and how they went from idealism to cynicism

 

Dark Heart

When Special Forces Major Matt Taylor returns to his small backwoods hometown as a hero of the war in Iraq, he has seen things no man should have to see. Unlike some of his men, he still has arms and legs, but the invisible scars are as deep as his need for home and a chance to heal and find his future.

But the town where Taylor grew up is not as he remembers. His beloved  sister has aged and changed. Most of the people he knew have forgotten him and feel forgotten themselves. Beneath the serene surface lies a brutality that is forced upon Taylor.  The local mill employing half the town is soon to close, and the frightened workers are as dangerous as cornered junkyard dogs. The disillusioned Viet Nam vet feels betrayed by his country.

In a dark night that is fill with mental and physical violence, Taylor must reach again into the darkest corners of his heart.

DARK HEART is the story of a returning hero and his fight to survive in the homeland he fought to defend.

Synopsis: A young couple in Tokyo strolls along through their neighborhood, revealing the fears and difficulties young people have committing to serious relationships in the modern world.  This vivid film reflects a contemporary Japanese reality -- within is a fanciful love story told in a unique and original docudrama style.

Synopsis:

A comedy about an aspiring hopeful named Thess (Bobby Field) who moves to Hollywood to become a star. Ever optimistic, he lands a gig as a "background performer" on the hit TV series "Rodeo Nights". After pestering his way into an audition for the show’s new series regular, he is so convinced that he's booked the role that he decides to document his last day of being a struggling actor. With his girlfriend Rose (Clare Kramer) as boom operator, and a soft-spoken friend Tony behind the camera, Thess takes us on a journey of the relentless pursuit of his dream. From Starbucks to the soundstage, Hollywood Boulevard to the Hollywood sign, “Guy in Row Five” is a comedy about the relentless determination of a Hollywood underdog who will inspire the dreamer in all of us.

Synopsis: An inspirational documentary showing how live theatre is decisive in changing people's lives. This documentary shows the importance of theatre and Shakespeare through interviews with kids who live in communities affluent with gangs and testimonials from many successful actors such as Tom Hanks, William Shatner, Martin Sheen, Michael York, Bill Pullman, and Christina Applegate among others.

 

The Narrow Path
